Shu Uemura Bids the Philippines Goodbye with an Everything Must Go SALE!

It’s no secret that Shu Uemura will be closing down their counters and boutiques here in the Philippines by April, but it doesn’t make it any less saddening! The cosmetic brand announced that they will be shutting down operations early January of this year, but promised to keep its branch in Rockwell Powerplant in Makati open until the end of April.

This came as a shock to many fans of the popular makeup brand, as they were doing really well in the past years. According to a statement made by Shu Uemura’s exclusive distributor to Preview.ph, “L’Oréal Philippines has become a strong market player in the local beauty market. To prepare for our future and to strengthen our position, we have decided to make choices within our brand portfolio. We have made a decision to discontinue the sales of Shu Uemura products in the Philippines,” which clarifies that this was purely a business decision for the brand.

And while we still haven’t really moved on from knowing that we Shu Uemura fans will never be able to purchase our cult faves from local malls and counters, we couldn’t help but jump at the opportunity to buy their products at amazingly discounted rates!

Head on over to their Rockwell Powerplant Mall branch and SM North EDSA branch, and enjoy 50% off on your favorite Shu Uemura products! Their Everything Must Go sale runs until March 31, 2017. Better hurry, though! Fans who have visited the said branches found many of their faves close to selling out.
