There are so many reasons to love Christmas — aside from the warm feelings that come from this season of love and gift-giving, Christmas celebrations are plenty as well! I personally enjoy themed parties — it gives me the freedom to glam up and dress up with my friends. Of course, there’s also the 13th month pay, which allows me to splurge a little on makeup when I normally wouldn’t if it were another month of the year.
Inspired by hours of window shopping on Sephora.ph, I’ve decided to create three makeup looks that I would want to wear to Christmas parties this year. Do take note that not all products featured were used to create the looks ;) For all these looks, I used my favorite Real Techniques brushes which I have purchased from Sephora a few months back.
Oh, Christmas Belle
This soft and natural look is perfect for reunions and gatherings wherein you want to stand out with an effortlessly elegant look. Use neutral shades for the eyes, and a reliable felt tip pen eyeliner to create a winged tip. Don’t forget to dab a small amount of frosted eye shadow on the inner corner of your eyes for that extra twinkle. Highlight and contour with care, and blend the edges properly. Finish the look with a bold matte lipstick.
If you have the confidence to pull it off, green eye shadow is a great way to add a burst of bright and vibrant color to your evening look. You’ll need a good eye shadow primer to keep your eye makeup in place. Since you want your eyes to be the focal point of your look, opt for a lip color that complements your look.
Recommended Products: Zoeva Rodeo Belle Palette, Cover FX Contour Kit in N Medium, Too Faced Sketch Marker Liquid Art Eyeliner, Benefit Cosmetics Stay Don’t Stray Eyeshadow Primer, and Sleek Makeup Lip 4 Palette in Tease
Merry and Bright
Wear some of those holiday glitter on your lids and puckers with this look! Choose a neutral or warm color for your eye shadow, and couple it with a rosy gloss. Go for a nude-pink blush for a feminine and head-turning FOTD without looking over-the-top. Don’t forget to dust off any fallout from your undereyes and cheeks. Should you need to clean up these areas, use a heavy-duty under eye concealer and dust with translucent powder.
Recommended Products: TheBalm BrowPow Eyebrow Powder, Sephora Collection Colorful Liquid Eyeliner in Morning Mocha, Sleek Makeup i-Divine Sunset, Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector, and ModelCo Shine Ultra Lip Gloss
