Banila Co, the most multi-awarded cosmetics brand in Korea, is now here in the Philippines! During their launch at Marco Polo Hotel Ortigas last November 23, 2015, I was given the chance to try out some of their bestselling products, which claims to help women achieve the popular “Lit from within” Korean look (aka the dewy, natural glow that we all love!) The launch was attended by celebrities, as well as beauty and makeup enthusiasts from the metro, and took to social media their excitement to try out these cult favorites from Banila Co.
Banila Co’s Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm is popular for selling 1 cleanser every 4.8 seconds in Korea! During the launch, Banila Co’s resident makeup artists demonstrated the cleansing power of Clean It Zero, and it promises to sweep your face clean of makeup. You have to see this one in action for yourself. If you’re not as happy as you should be with your makeup remover, then the Clean It Zero just might be the heaven-sent product you’ve been waiting for.
The Prime Primer has been lauded by Korean cable program Get It Beauty as the best primer in the industry, while the It Radiant CC Cream with SPF 30 is the bestselling CC cream in Korea for three years now. If this doesn’t make you want to run to Glorietta for your Banila Co. fix, then I don’t know what will!
Its popularity is not only known in Korea, but extends to China, as it is regarded in the country as the second best-performing Korean cosmetics brand. It’s slowly making its way to dominating Southeast Asia, with subsequent launches in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and now, the Philippines and Taiwan. You can find Banila Co.’s first store in Manila in Glorietta 4. It’s a stall in the middle of one of the hallways in Glorietta 4, but don’t worry — you won’t miss it! In a few months, it will also be opening up stores in Robinsons Place Manila, as well as other prime malls in Metro Manila and key provinces.
It was also during the launch that I discovered this lippie called Fall in Seoul in Bukchon/Burgundy shade. I instantly fell in love with it! I made my way to Glorietta 4 one week after the launch and bought this lippie for Php 650 (?). Full review in another blog post soon!
