Keeping things Pinteresting with Pinterest!

pinterest pin it pinas button

Pinterest has been a huge part of my content curation, not only for my day job as a social media manager for countless brands, but also for fueling my creative juices. I have been avidly pinning and repinning content since early 2014, and have been fostering this addiction since. For those who have not yet been acquainted with the platform, Pinterest is a visual bookmarking tool that helps you discover and save creative ideas.

The awesome thing about Pinterest is that you can easily pin things from across the web with a click of the Pin it! Button (just install to your browser of choice for convenient pinning!). You also get to organize images based on themes or concepts. For example, I manage a Pinterest board on my profile which I named “Colored Tresses” to house all my hair inspirations, so that when the time comes that I’m ready for a more vibrant hair color, I have this collection of images to refer to and choose from! It’s almost like saving photos on your computer for future reference, only, you can access them anytime and anywhere as long as you have internet connection!

I keep a handful of Pinterest boards, secret and public boards alike, but my favorite board would have to be my Ulzzang/ Gyaru/ and Asians board. Ulzzangs are my biggest style inspiration, and I love observing their fashion trends over time. My Pinterest board allows me not only to collect pretty photos of these stunning Korean internet idols, but also share my love for them with other avid ulzzang followers.

Follow HANA’s board Ulzzang / Gyaru / Asians on Pinterest.
In case I (or any user for that matter) would like to see the source of the image, all they have to do is click on the image to see the website where the image came from. This feature makes Pinterest a great social media platform for those with e-commerce sites and photo blogs!

In case you’ve decided to create a Pinterest account, or would like to connect with other content curators, please do connect with me at You may sign up for your very own free account via this link, or by clicking on the Pin it, Pinas! badge above. However, the registration link will only be available for a limited time, so hurry! Have fun pinning! :)-HANA
