Inexpensive Mexican Food Fix at Casa Quesadilla (Maginhawa St., Sikatuna Village)

Casa Quesadilla, located at the popular strip of food establishments at Maginhawa St. in Quezon City, gives guests with huge appetites for Mexican cuisine great items to snack on!

Casa Quesadilla has opened its doors to foodies at its first location at the famous food strip of Maginhawa. Literally meaning “The House of Quesadillas” in Spanish, Casa Quesadilla offers its take on well-loved Mex dishes, such as the different quesadilla variants, the Ultimate Nachos, and their choices of burritos.

The festive colors and the Day of the Dead symbols painted on the walls were hard to miss, and lends its vibrancy to the overall atmosphere of the place. At least ten people can enjoy dining indoors, and the dining area at the patio can accommodate another four. The size of the place may not be conducive for hanging out, but it’s a great place to grab some snacks and enjoy a short chat time with friends.

From Top L-R: Beef Yakiniku Quesadilla (Php 140), Burrito (Choice of Chicken Burrito for Php 120 or Mexican Beef Burrito for Php 130), Dynamite Beef Rolls (Php 99), and Spinach and Chicken Quesadilla (Php 130)

The Quesadillas were not only tasty, but they packed in at lot of cheese! With every mouthful, it was easy to tell that they did not use ordinary cheese in order to achieve that thick and melted cheesy goodness. The sweet Beef Yakiniku and the healthy Spinach and Chicken Quesadilla are just two of the great-tasting quesadilla flavors to choose from. They also have the Mexican Beef Quesadilla, Tuna and Mushroom Quesadilla, Chicken Quesadilla, and Mushroom Melt Quesadilla. The Greek Quesadilla and the Banana Nutella Quesadilla definitely pique my interest, and are on my To-Try list the next time I’m at Maginhawa. They also offer inexpensive burritos all below Php 150, with the choice of Chicken or Mexican Beef Burrito, whichever meat you prefer. The Dynamite Beef Roll is also something to look forward to, with its giant chili peppers slit open and filled with ground beef, then wrapped with lumpia wrapper and deep-fried until perfectly cooked. It’s not as spicy as many spice-averse diners fear, and tasted great even without ketchup or any other condiments.
