Review: New HG Cleanser: Physiogel Hypoallergenic Cleanser

Physiogel Hypoallergenic Cleanser (Php 155)

I’ve always stayed away from hypoallergenic cleansers and always went for the anti-acne soap and facial wash varieties, thinking that my skin needs a stronger and more powerful formula to rid it of acne. Recently, my skin has been clearing up (with no thanks to the anti-acne facial wash and creams) and I’ve discovered Physiogel Hypoallergenic Cleanser.

Physiogel Hypoallergenic Cleanser is Soap Free, Non Comedogenic, and for sensitive skin and all skin types

It was actually by chance that I tried out Physiogel late last year. A bottle of the Physiogel Hypoallergenic Cleanser happened to be included in one of the lootbags handed out during an event, and I decided to try it out myself. Here’s what I liked and disliked about the cleanser:

  • Non-greasy, soap-free formula. It doesn’t strip your skin of moisture, like most cleansers do.
  • Gentle to the skin
  • It’s hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic (meaning, it does not tend to clog pores or form black heads)
  • Comparing it to another popular hypoallergenic cleanser, Cetaphil, Physiogel foams better, so you don’t have the urge to keep pumping product from the bottle and slapping it on your face until it foams real good. And because it foams better, it makes me more confident that its cleansing my skin better than Cetaphil does.
  • Cleanses my face really well

Properly sealed to ensure quality

  • None that I can think of so far!

But like most facial cleansers, it’s not really designed to strip off heavy makeup from your face, so make sure to wipe off makeup first with a makeup remover or a gentle, hypoallergenic wet wipes.

Price: Php 155 for 100 ml. Comparing it to other facial cleansers, foams, and wash, it’s a little more expensive. But, you get what you pay for!

Recommended for: All skin types! Especially those with sensitive skin, because Physiogel Hypoallergenic Cleanser won’t cause your skin to break out. But don’t expect it to solve your acne woes. It is, after all, just your basic facial cleanser.

The product in the photos is actually a repurchase. I loved my first Physiogel  Hypoallergenic Cleanser so much that I decided to restock even if I haven’t consumed it yet!

How about you? Any other hypoallergenic cleansers worth trying that you’d like to recommend? Share it with me!-HANA
