Goodah!!! Opens its Biggest Branch at Metrowalk

Who hasn’t heard of the famous Filipino restaurant, Goodah!!!? It’s been an icon of pop culture ever since it opened its first branch in Greenhills, San Juan in 1983. Little did I know that the pinoy favorites “-silog” were dish names coined by Goodah in the 1980s. The restaurant became so popular that a Tito, Vic, and Joey movie was named after it! To satisfy my curiosity, I just had to go check out Goodah!!!’s Metrowalk Branch opening, their biggest branch yet.

Free’tong Wifi. Wagi!

The fast casual restaurant Goodah!!! aims to be a destination spot for Call Center agents and night shift workers in the Metrowalk vicinity. Most restaurants in Metrowalk have a price range of Php 200 above, and Goodah!!! is one of the first restaurants in Metrowalk to offer an affordable menu of dishes. Not only that, but they are open “25 Hours, 8 Days a Week,” which means that they never close, not even for short breaks or holidays. They even offer free Wi-fi connection to their customers.

Goodah!!!’s famous Goto Special (Php 69)

This was my first time to eat at Goodah!!!’s, but I can now see why it captured the stomachs of the masses. The dishes are so affordable, and the servings are huge. I wasn’t able to finish my bowl of Goto Special because I finished my Goodah!!! platter clean. Goodah!!!’s Red Tea is their bestselling drink, and it wasn’t very tasty, which is good, so as not to overpower the taste and flavor of the other dishes.

Desserts: Leche Flan (Php 30)

Halo-Halo (Php59)

I loved that they had a number of dessert offerings. Their Leche Flan got me asking for another plate, which Shawn gladly gave me (because he’s choosy with his Leche Flan and only likes eating the part where there are bubble holes). Goodah!!!’s Halo-Halo has really delicious milk, that I could have drank the whole glass clean if I wasn’t full yet. The only thing their Halo-halo lacked was a spoonful of ube, but it would do.

Goodah!!!’s CR sign

I love the interiors of Goodah!!! It really got an upgrade from what used to be a small gotohan. The tongue-in-cheek posters and signages hung around the whole place makes it so lively. Also, I enjoyed having my photo taken with their labeled chairs:

Thank you Goodah!!! for having me at your Goodah!!! Metrowalk Branch Grand Opening. I’m glad to finally have a taste of Goodah!!! since my dad used to talk a lot about it. I’ll definitely check out your other branches, too! Goodah!!! has twelve branches all over Luzon, with one at Market Market and Alabang Town Center. I’m going to try out your Tapsimix the next time I visit for sure!-HANA
