Almost closing time and the place is still packed with happy diners

Chicken Junction’s menu features four chicken rice meals, three pork rice meals, two pasta dishes, and two sandwiches. Even though the establishment name implies they specialize on chicken dishes, I’m glad they decided to throw in pork dishes as well. I’m sure I’m not the only one who appreciate that, considering that not everyone might be a fan of chicken.

Here are the highlights of our Chicken Junction experience:

Sizzling Pork Sisig (Php 95)

Ironically, we are going to start talking about one of Chicken Junction’s pork dishes, which is their Sizzling Pork Sisig. Yes, their plate of Sizzling Pork Sisig comes with rice. And even though they skipped on the egg on their sisig, they made up for it by removing the liver and other innards. The sisig was also the spiciest dish among the bunch for me. It was a little oily the first time because we took too long snapping photos of the other dishes. We loved their sisig so much, we asked for another serving.

Sizzling Deviled Chicken (Php 85)

I wasn’t kidding when I said that the Sizzling Pork Sisig was the spiciest dish that night. When I moved on to their Sizzling Deviled Chicken, I can hardly taste the spice. Luckily, the creamy sauce was so flavorful and makes for a perfect viand.

Glazed Crunchy Chicken (Php 92)

Chicken Junction’s take on BonChon’s Chicken might give BonChon a run for their money! The Glazed Crunchy Chicken comes with a small serving of cucumber in vinegar for sides. The sour side dish goes well with the sweet glazed chicken. Of all the dishes I’ve tried, this one is my favorite. I liked how the chicken’s skin is crunchy, but the meat is juicy and tender. Comparing it to BonChon’s though, Chicken Junction’s was extra saucy. I personally liked the extra drizzle of sweet sauce, but some might say it takes away the attention from the taste of the chicken.

Chicken Inasal Paa (Php 89)

Chicken Inasal Pitso (Php 89)

We were so full and satisfied after our meal. And the best part is, all the dishes cost less than a hundred!

They also have Sandwich Snackers that come with french fries for only Php 65 each. I’m looking forward to my next visit at Chicken Junction so that I can try out their Glazed Chicken Sandwich.

If you’re raring to go and check out Chicken Junction for yourself, head over to One Pavillion Mall Ground Floor beside Dimsum Break. The mall is located at the corner of Banawa, just beside Jollibee.
