Amuse Bouche — Pate De Foie Gras

Amuse Bouche differs from the usual appetizer in such a way that it is not ordered by customers from the menu. Rather, it is the chef’s discretion what to serve, and is usually served for free. This usually serves as a teaser of the feast to come.

Cold Appetizer — Yogurt Infused Two Tone US Apples Topped with Micro Greens

This cold appetizer really set the palette. It’s just the right appetizer to serve before a set of tasty offerings.

Entree – Prawn Phyllo in Fresh Tomato Chermoula Sauce

Soup — Velvety Porcini Mushroom Soup Scented With White Truffle Oil, served with Bread and Butter

While the soup proved to be heavy on the stomach and a little salty to the taste, it was delicious and was best enjoyed with the served bread and butter to neutralize the saltiness.

Main Entree — Rosemary Crusted Lamb Rib Chop in Pinot Noir Reduction; Oven Roasted Asparagus Spears, Brussel Sprout and Shallots, Marbled Potato Au Gratin

Dessert — Connoisseur’s 6-Hour Slow Baked Quezo de Bola Cheesecake

What I loved about the slow baked Quezo de Bola Cheesecake was that it wasn’t all sweet like most cheesecakes are, but has the perfect balance between sweet and a little hint of salty.

Throughout lunch, wines appropriate for the dishes were served. In all of their dishes, Connoisseur Catering was very consistent with their picture-perfect presentations. Kudos to the chefs of Connoisseur Catering.
