Etude House Juicy Cocktail Gradation Nails Trio

This week, I decided to try Etude House Juicy Cocktail Gradation Nails Set of Nail Polish. I did my own nails, and I found that this set of nail polish is very easy to apply. It wasn’t too thick nor too thin. I applied everything twice to make two layers, and to make the nail polish more durable.

Step 1: Base Polish

Step 1 : Apply the Base Polish. In this set, the base polish is called Blingbling Beige, and I just find the shade so adorable. I can wear this nail polish shade forever! (And forever is a long time! :) It’s shimmery, and it’s a fun base to experiment with. The base polish is applied to the entire nail. Make sure to cover the entire nail surface evenly. Apply twice for better durability.

Step 2: Middle Polish

Once the base dries partly, proceed to Step 2. Step 2 involves application of the Middle Polish, which in this set is called Marry Gold, from the middle of the nail up to the tip. The glitters here are more obvious than the mini-glitters in the base polish.

Step 3 : Top Polish

Once the first two nail polish coats have dried, do Step 3. Step 3 involves application of the Top Polish along the nail tips only. I had some difficulty with this step, because I have short-trimmed nails, so I think I overdid the Top Polish a little. This polish is called Princess Gold, and has chunkier bronze-colored glitters.

There isn’t a fourth step indicated in the instructions on the side of the box, but I prefer to apply a top coat to improve the durability of the nail polish. Imagine the effort of putting nail polish on yourself, only for the polish to chip off and crack in a matter of days? No way!

Step 4: Top Coat

The Cina Top Coat is not available in Etude House (sorry girls!) I bought this at  Beauty Blends, Inc., located at GF Manhattan Bldg. 920 Banawe St., Brgy Manresa, Quezon City. If anyone’s interested, you can call them up to inquire at 363-6736 or 39.

I’ve been delaying doing my own nails for the longest time, because I’m too lazy to remove the nail polish and reapply once it starts chipping off. Howver, the Etude House Juicy Cocktail Gradation Nails Set really allows for easy nail DIY. The end product is super pretty, too. Princess nails, FTW!
