How To Send Money GCASH / G-cash

How to send money via GCASH G-cash

It has come to my attention that many people have not yet used G-cash in paying for online transactions. Since currently, most shops cannot accommodate any other payment methods than Gcash, I’d like to take this opportunity to be able to help you learn more about it.

G-cash is a reliable means of sending and receiving payment. It is an especially common medium of transferring money especially in online transactions.

Here’s our walkthrough. It’s really easy and hassle-free. :)

1. First, make sure you have the gcash details of the person you will be sending money to. These include:

Full Name

Address

Cellphone Number

Do not forget to bring a valid ID and the money that you will be sending.

2. Go to your nearest Globe centers or G-cash outlet. Tell the guard that you will be sending money via G-cash. The guard will then proceed to give you a prioirty number, a form to fill up, and he might ask for your ID so that he can have it photocopied. He will return your ID with the photocopy, which you present later on. If he doesn’t ask for your ID, you will be asked to present your ID later on at the counter, so just keep it close.

3. Complete the gcash form. Check and double check the number you will be sending the money to. If you make a mistake, it might not be so easy to retrieve the money (I personally don’t know if it’s even possibble to retrieve sent money, even in cases of scam).

4. Once it’s your turn to be served (your priority number shows up on their “Now Serving” screen) approach the counter. Hand over your priority number, order form, and the photocopy of your ID. Also hand over the amount you will be sending once the person at the counter asks for it. (Remember to check if the globe personnel you’re transacting with has an ID. Do not transact with unauthorized individuals. Always keep in mind that it is your responsibility to protect yourself from scams, so always be wary and alert.)

5. The Globe personnel at the counter will verify the information you have written in your form. This will be your last chance to finalize the information you wrote and check for any mistakes.

6. After the transaction has been completed, you will be given a receipt as proof that you have sent money and transacted with Globe. Keep it, just in case. :)

Hope this short tutorial helps. Have fun shopping online! <3
