Uncle Moe’s Shawarma Hub, Pasig

I’ve been wanting to try out new and uncharted places in and around Pasig, and have been craving for shawarma for a while now. It was lucky that Uncle Moe’s Shawarma Hub came up in my search for inexpensive places to try, and is conveniently accesible via public transportation, and a little effort walking.

We ordered our usual favorites, Kofta Balls with Pita Bread, Keema with Buttered Rice, and Extra Beef Kebab (2 pieces).

Kofta Balls with Pita Bread (165php)

The Kofta Balls were really good, especially with the Pita Bread. However, the pita bread is thin, so you might want to slice the kofta balls to smaller pieces before wrapping it with the Pita Bread, or bite from the Kofta Balls first before eating the Pita Bread.

Keema with Buttered Rice, 110php

I love buttered rice! I’m not really fond of eating rice (I eat two tablespoons of rice per meal because of my diet) but I don’t think I have the strength in me to resist buttered rice. And the Keema was especially delicious, with the shawarma sauces bring out the flavor of the dish. I really think that the sauces were responsible for 50% of the flavor I loved about Keema.

Extra Beef Kebab, two pieces for 72php

Last but not the least is the two pieces of extra Beef Kebab we ordered. Compared to Mister Kabab, which is one of my favorite Persian/Shawarma places, Uncle Moe’s Beef Kebab was significantly shorter and less filling. It also doesn’t help that the presentation was unremarkable. It was just two pieces of Beef Kebab placed on an empty plate, then served. As for the taste, the Beef Kebab won’t disappoint. Best eater with rice and mixed with their shawarma sauces.

Budget: Your 200php will get you full at Uncle Moe’s Shawarma Hub. Choice of affordable drinks include softdrinks in can, bottled juices, and beer.

Uncle Moe’s Shawarma Hub in Kapitolyo, Pasig is definitely a good place to chill and eat. Inexpensive, yet delectable shawarma dishes which would leave you satisfied. It’s very accessible with public transportation. It’s something I would recommend to those who’re craving for shawarma and flavorful dishes. And yes, will definitely come back for more. –HANA

I’ve been browsing online more than 3 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It’s pretty worth enough for me. Personally, if all webmasters and bloggers made good content as you did, the net will be much more useful than ever before.
