I had the chance to watch Senior Year movie c/o our friends from the Yabang Pinoy. It was an awesome movie, and it got me nostalgic of the things I had back in High School. High School wasn’t really that exciting for me. I remember looking forward to college and the new hopes that it would bring. I guess it’s safe to say that the High School culture hasn’t changed a bit, even after four years. Students still do have the same concerns and worries, from they yearly Intrams, college admission tests, getting into your school of choice, being accepted by your peers, and even romantic relationships. It’s well written, well-made, and has that extra dose of humor that keeps the audience’s attention fixated on the movie. I have hopes that more people would watch this movie, and would be inspired to skip on the cheesy-capitalistic movies (that give local movies a bad name), and dish out more support for movies that have significant messages waiting to be heard.
Watch the trailer of Senior Year:
Among the characters, I’m probably a lot like Henry, the whiz of the batch. I graduated second in class and studies and contests kept High School life going for me.
I don’t have any better pics of my FOTD, oTL, since I was rushing to get to MOA on time right after duty. Did smokey brown eyes and combined it with pale pink lips.
Had dinner afterwards at A Veneto Napoli Pizzeria Ristorante. The place was packed! We had to wait a while to be seated, but it was worth it, because their parmigiana and calzone were ho chia (delicious).
Looking forward to next movie night! Spiderman’s up next :) -ED
