EOTD: Sea Anemone Love

This must be one of my weirdest EOTDs yet, inspired by a sea creature named after the terrestrial plant, anemones: the Sea Anemone.

Compared to the pretty flower, anemone, which exudes femininity and gentleness, the sea anemone is a predatory animal of the sea, which can take down even larger preys. It has hairs on its surface, which, when touched, triggers the release of a mix of toxins that paralyzes the prey, and allows for digestion.

Sea anemones tend to stay in one place for a prolonged period of time, unless conditions become unsuitable for living, or predators start making its way to it. Which is kinda like humans, when we tend to stay in our comfort zones.

So here’s my EOTD. It’s still a work in progress. Trying my hand at avant-garde. Totally unwearable for outside use :))

I decided to use my NYX Studio Liquid Eyeliner in Extreme Blue, which is a nice metallic color of sorts. However, the eyeliner tube fell from my table and broke its neck in the process. I had to throw it out after only getting to use it this once :<

Let me just apologize in advance for the overused angles. I’m shooting with a huge-ass DSLR, with no decent camera phone to substitute for it. No tripod. Manual focus. It’s all me.

I was probably a lonely sea anemone on the sea floor in my past life. LOL
Trying hard to make it look wearable

For this look, I decided to use a generic, unbranded 96-color palette, because it blends better using wet technique than my favorite NYX Box of Eyeshadows. Barry M Lip Paint in Peachy Pink for the Nude lips. Comments would be greatly appreciated. I just find it fun to be practicing, and I love to hear from you guys. :) -ED
