I’ve never thought I’d ever realize the importance of knowing how to drive and having your own car. I’ve always been lazy like that, as I’d prefer to be driven to where I need to go than driving myself. Well, that was until last Friday, when I was running terribly late for a product launch at 7pm all the way to Cubao, and I still haven’t gotten myself a taxi when it was already almost 6pm! Talk about Friday traffic blues. It was definitely that moment when I realized my dad was right about getting driving lessons and buying a car. So, lesson learned.
Since we’re on the topic of cars, I know a lot of people just don’t buy cars for the sake of buying one, or solely for driving. A car, each probably amounting to a little less than a million pesos, defines a lifestyle. It’s a luxury item. And if it’s gonna be worth that much, you might as well get to enjoy some add-ons, right?
Say hello to One Hyundai Club (OHC), Hyundai Asia’s little way of showing gratitude to their loyal customers through the years, as they have made their way as the third leading in the automotive industry. The One Hyundai Club gives their members access to a lot of perks and freebies, even exclusive events. It’s not just your car that gets to enjoy the perks! You get free access to activities and events OHC has planned for you, whatever your lifestyle is.
The good people over from Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. invited us last week for lunch at Hotel Celeste in Makati and a short briefing about the grand lifestyle event they’re holding. It’s the One Hyundai Club Life In Style, which is happening on the 14th of January, 2012, and YOU ARE INVITED. They have packed the event with amazing activities catering to everyone from all walks of life: Wardrobe Consultancy, Cooking Demos, Makeovers, Photo Sessions, Wall Climbing, Rappelling, Arcade Games, and so much more! The best part is, this event is free for all! No, you don’t have to own a Hyundai car, or any car to join. You just have to go to the One Hyundai Club website at http://www.ohclifeinstyle.com and register. Like One Hyundai Club’s Facebook Page for more updates on the event : www.facebook.com/OneHyundaiClubLifeInStyle
During the event, they will be launching the 2012 One Hyundai Club Life in Style Journal. Keep an eye out for this!
