Treatment Day 3
I would liken the use of Nisce’s Clarifying Lotion and Peel White Lotion to the effect of Obagi’s Peels. The effect of the Obagi Peels, from what I’ve read online, is that it lightens acne scars, even out skin tones, and brings out a more rosy complexion. It takes about 14 days before the peeling really goes away.
Now, for the Nisce Hydroquinone + Tretinoin Combo in the form of the Clarifying and Peel White Lotions, I would say that the effect is about the same. Expect excessive peeling at Day 3 onwards. I had to miss an event today, and will probably skipping on a whole weekend’s worth of laboy just to get this peeling done with. Peeling –> Removal of Acne Scars. It’s a little sacrifice I have to make. :(
Another thing to remember is to let your face peel by itself. Don’t pull out the peeling skin, because it might cause uneven peeling. Don’t scrub the peeling skin too much just to remove it, because it’s going to hurt so bad when you apply the lotions at night, because the skin’s surface is a little more sensitive now that it has lost some layers to the peeling process.
Lastly, don’t forget to sun-protect yourself. As said earlier, your peeling skin is more vulnerable to the harmful effects of UV rays from the sun, so take necessary precautions.
With that said, I’m hoping for a little less peeling over the weekend. I’m incapacitated like this, unable to go out because of the excessive peeling. But it’s okay! It’s the weekend, and I can still have lots of fun inside the comforts of my home.
Hope you guys are peeling good and just as fine! (Okay, sorry for the bad pun XD)
