Have you found Serenitea?

Recently, I’ve been trying to cool off on the coffee. I’ve had far too many sleepless nights, and an extra cup of coffee more than my usual one cup could make me lose some more valuable sleep time. However, I’m still on the lookout for some drinks, and a good place to hang out.

Then I found Serenitea.

Serenitea. Not your ordinary cup of tea.

Us, while waiting for our drinks.

Meet our Serenitea Loyaltea Card
They give you a sticker for every purchase of a Large-sized drink. And when you fill the Loyaltea Card, you get one free Large drink! :)

And this is the Serenitea buzzer. Actually, I don’t have any idea what it’s called. It lights up and alarms when your drink’s ready for claiming

I love the pearls.

Most of the drinks’ names are after the cities of Japan. Hokkaido, Okinawa, etc. so it’s not easy for me to remember the names of the drinks I like and the drinks I try to avoid. I just ask the person at the counter which drink has caramel (I have difficulty resisting drinks with caramel) and add pearls (which I really like chewing on)

The thing I love about Serenitea is that I can customize the sweetness of the drinks. Most of the time, I choose 125% sugar level, because the 100% sugar level is not sweet enough for me. I love the ambiance of the place, but hate that the branch I frequent (Robinsons Place Ermita) is not big enough to accommodate the usual number of customers who’d like to hang out. I imagine that in a year, maybe Serenitea will become the Starbucks counterpart for tea. Tea has become the new coffee.
The only thing I’d like Serenitea to improve on is their menu display, which doesn’t really explain what the drinks contain or tastes like. It says Hokkaido, but who’s supposed to know what that drink tastes like, right? At least a description should be written with the names of the drinks, so that the customers would find it easier to decide which drinks they’d want to order.
All in all, Serenitea has become my (and my boyfriend’s) new happy place. Looking forward to trying coffee jelly in their drink soon! (And hopefully, more drinks with caramel!)

Also! They have few branches, which I hate. :< Check out some of their drinks in any of these branches: Alabang Town Center
